Hallo zusammen,
ich habe einen Dell Inspirion 530, der ursprünglich mit Ubuntu ausgrüstet war, mit Win XP Professional überschrieben. Funktioniert alles bestens, bis auf den fehlenden sound. Habe schon versucht, über die Dell-site Treiber zu laden, ohne den richtigen zu finden. Hat jemand einen Hinweis für mich?

Vielleicht hilft es nachzuschauen welche Audiokomponenten verbaut sind und den Treiber direkt beim Hersteller zu laden.

Es ist leider keine spezielle Soundkarte vorhanden, wie ich das von früher kenne. Als chipsatz ist folgendes verbaut:

Auf der Seite von Dell wird zum Inspiron Desktop 530 auch noch ein Realtek Treiber angeboten -> http://support.euro.dell.com/support/top...pup&file=246494
Hast Du es damit schon probiert?
Sonst schau mal mit SIW nach, was alles so in Deinem Rechner drin ist und häng mal das Logfile dazu an. Eventuell bekommt man die Soundkarte über das Motherboard raus. Ist ja sicherlich OnBoard und keine extra PCI(-E)-Karte.
Download SIW: http://www.gtopala.com/download/siw.exe
Programm nach dem Download einfach starten (keine Installation nötig) und dann über das Menü "File" -> "Create a LOG File" eine HTML-Datei mit Deinen Rechnerdaten erzeugen lassen und hier anhängen.

ATI Radeon ist die Grafikkomponente. Über die Audiokomponenten steht da leider nichts. Schau mal in SIW unter hardware => DEvices => Audio-,Video- und Gamecontroller was da alles aufgelistet ist.
